How our journey began.

VEE WEIR | OWNER + FOUNDER

Vee began her career in 2012 as the City of Wilmington’s Parks and Recreation Intern. After her brief stint as April Ludgate, she was brought on as a consultant for marketing Greenway and open-space projects for Wilmington and New Hanover County.

From 2013-2015, Vee lived in Chapel Hill and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Communications in 2015. Post graduation, she began her personal brand, Vee Frugal Fox.

After dipping her toes into the personal finance world, Vee discovered a new niche to pour her passion of digital marketing into.

In 2019, she opened the doors of Weir Digital Marketing — a firm specializing in helping personal finance brands and influencers stand out in a crowded digital space. She has worked with top leaders and organizations in the personal finance industry and has been featured on Business Insider, Forbes, LA Times, CNBC, Reader's Digest and more.

Offline, Vee enjoys hiking with her husband and 3 dogs in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.

KAYLI JOHNSON | PARTNER

Kayli graduated from University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a B.A. in Elementary Education in 2014. During her years in education, she grew her skills with online learning and media.

She began working for VIPKID in 2019, teaching students on the other side of the world English and found her love for reaching people’s needs and educating the masses virtually. Combined with her family’s roots in the radio industry, digital marketing was an easy transition. She joined Weir Digital Marketing in 2020 as partner.

When she’s not creating content, you can find her chasing around her two sons with her husband– coffee in hand.

AVA YAKUB | PAID AD SPECIALIST + VA

Ava has a diverse background spanning startups and nonprofits to corporate companies and agencies. Her expertise is broad, covering industries such as IT, SaaS, health, retail, consumer services, and finance. She specializes in paid social advertising, as well as social media management, copy writing, and marketing strategy.

When Ava isn’t optimizing campaigns, you can find her hanging out with her husband and two cats at their home in Philadelphia, reading a mystery novel.
